Sweetwater Plantation offers a limited number of hunts each season. Our hunting season begins August 1 through March 1. The quality of our deer herd is outstanding and will continue to improve year after year. This ensures hunters will have a hunting experience they’ll never forget and will want to return year after year.
There is never a bad time to hunt at Sweetwater Plantation, but the best time is during the rut which usually begins in mid-October through mid-November.
Most hunts will span 3-days (Thursday through Saturday). However, we will consider the needs of the hunter.
Because you will see many bucks of different age classes and sizes, we will provide seasoned guides that will accompany you on your hunting experience to help guide you to the trophy of your choice.
